Robin Hood

The last movie I've seen was great! I'm fond of watching epic movies and Robin Hood entertained me well!I like how the story was written and the choice of characters is perfect!I love Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett.Robin Hood is a fast-paced movie telling us Robin of the hood's life before his legend began.

Robin Longstride (Russell Crowe) is an archer who brought the news to England about the King's death in France. On his way back to his country, he came across the dying Robert Loxley of Nottingham and promised to bring Robert's sword back to his father,Walter.Walter wanted Robin to play as Robert and to be Lady Marian (Cate Blanchett) Loxley's wife to save their land. The successor, King John is weak and deceived by Godfrey,an agent of the French King who made himself Earl Marshal of England and collects tax by force in the name of King John that would eventually allow the English people to start a civil war.Godfrey will then use England's division to defeat them.

England is threatened by the French Invasion and a war broke out on the south coast.Robin killed Godfrey with his arrow in a far distance. The french surrendered to him and not to King John.  They won the king's first battle.Threatened to his power,King John decided to change his mind about the Charter of the Forest and declares Robin to be an outlaw.Robin moves to Sherwood Forest with Lady Marian and his friends. The legend of Robin Hood was then given birth.

I'd like to recommend this movie to those who are bored at home.
