Spam

We hate getting unwanted emails but spammers are making their way to get through.Spamming is the practice of sending emails which are unsolicited to large numbers of people on the internet. It's definitely a form of abuse of electronic communications media. It's the same as flooding messages at the same time to gain viewers, buyers, and worst fool people.

For those who always use the internet, you should be vigilant. This morning I got to see this one which was sent yesterday but I wasn't alarmed. I know it was another form of deception.Beware of this email with the subject MESSAGE FROM WESTERN UNION:

If you didn't apply for anything or didn't join any contest disregard this kind of email and considered it trash.Internet users BE ALERT and BE WATCHFUL!

I get many of these in my inbox. It's good that you are warning people.

And thank you so much for your visit to my sewing blog. I would suggest you give an electric machine a try and see if you can possibly find someone to show you step by step or look at some beginning to sew videos on You Tube. Let me know if you have any questions.

Email spam blocking techniques fall into one of two broad areas. The first area, common in small to midsize sites, is to add spam blocking technology into the Mail Transfer Agent (MTA) - Exchange, Sendmail, Postfix and Communigate are all examples of MTAs.

The second technique is more commonly used by large sites and sites with dedicated mail administrators, and that is to put a mail-blocking appliance between the MTA and the Internet.

Spam is annoying, but it's usually easy to detect. Always be aware of emails that claim some marvelous fortune has befallen you or even emails that say, your package can't be delivered, or there is a problem with your bank card. These are tricks to get you to respond through the links in the emails to steal from your identity or banking info, etc. If you have questions or concerns about these issuses then contact these companies personally through a phone call that you have on file or physically look up. Good pointers on the spam! ;)

Hmmm, I don't know if my comment posted or not. So, I shall do it again. Spam is usually detectable upon first glance. If you get an email claiming some wonderful fortune has befallen you or that your pack can't be delivered or there is a problem with your bank card, then these are hackers trying to steal your identity or banking info via the link they provide you in the email you received. It's best if you're in control of the situation. Call your bank or delivery carrier with your concerns always. Thanks for the interesting tips!

It's indeed annoying!
Thanks Cathy for sharing your ideas..I agree. It's best to make a personal inquiry if u get trouble with something..there are a lot of untrusted links around the web!
