My sister together with her boyfriend and I went to Quirino Grandstand, Rizal Park in Manila to participate the 2011 Takbo ng Manileño Fun Run.Manileño refers to the people who live in the capital city of the Philippines which is Manila.
The said event is organized by the city government of Manila. This is a way of improving the I.T. laboratories of public schools and to have enjoyable morning exercise with a cause.
I have met Manila City Mayor Fred Lim, the former Police Major General and Director of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). He was with his vice Isko Moreno, a former three-term councilor and celebrity in his teens.
This morning was my first participation in Manila Fun Run. After the run, we joined a group of people doing some exercise at the Luneta ground. It was fun to follow the instructor's moves and dance with the music!
