Happy Walk 2012

Every year the children with down syndrome come together to engage themselves in an annual parade called Happy Walk. It happens in accordance to National Syndrome Consciousness Month. This outdoor activity welcomes different organizations like Boy and Girl Scouts of the Philippines that support DSAPI which is also a way of showing to people that these children exist and to remind us that they're part in our society.

Right after the parade, my fellow volunteers and I had our meeting for the summer camp intended for these children. The staff has been discussing important things since the camp will be in April.
