I feel sorry for the flood victims in Iligan, Bukidnon and Dumaguete. Christmas is about to come but the people in Cagayan de Oro are struggling for food, water and comfortable place to stay in since they've been evacuated from their residences. It was reported that the water level reaches 18 feet and the rainfall is 18 milliliters when typhoon Sendong hits Cagayan.
Cadavers are recovered in different barangays.Death toll in Cagayan reaches 927 as of today.Coastguards are able to find floating dead bodies.

Our fellows suffer from flash flood when Cagayan River overflowed. A mass burial was actually scheduled today but the local officials postponed it when the people begged to give them more time to look and identify their missing love ones.
I can't donate big cash but I'm going to give away all my old clothing. Last week, my sister and I were clearing our closet. Mom normally asks us to do it before Christmas because there are people who expect to have them but this time I'm sending them to the TV station that accepts donation for Cagayan.
Tent, mosquito net, blanket and dry goods are the things they need.It takes a month to repair the water system in Cagayan so they badly need bottled water.Give if you can. Christmas is giving. It's not about shopping for yourself. Events like this teaches us to understand life better and to know our purpose.
