Little Big Star third place Charice Pempengco sang the National Anthem in the boxing event in the country last July 6, 2008 at the Araneta Coliseum. The said event was called Invasion: Philippines vs. the world. Filipino boxers againts other boxers in different nationalities.
This newly born singer lost her passport when they were about to leave for Uk.This 15 year old singing sensation guested on Ellen Degeneres talk show> I can see and I believe that she can be the next shining and brightest star in her time in the field of singing! Charice can be a future walt disney singer for walt disney cartoons just like what Lea Salonga did. Filipinos were so proud of her for bringing the flag of the Philippines to the world and make it known! She's indeed a gifted one. A little yet big star that will record lots of songs and perhaps write songs in the future. She can be a song writer just Ogie Alcasid and other Filipino and foreign song writers. She does good in the field of singing and with the kind of talent that she has now she can even make it to the show business and have advertisers to endorse products with her. I can smell that.
Charice is now having a very hectic schedule with her guesting here and abroad. I'm happy that another Filipino kid is born to show the world that "Kaya ng Pinay!". Go go Charice! Keep rockin'!
This May Charice will be one of those kids that will be featured in Oprah. That episode will be about ordinary kids having extra ordinary talents to show! Wow! It's truly a wow for a Filipino kid to be joining the show with the other smart ones. I'll be waiting for that episode of Oprah.
